Nyoonza "song bird" is SARI's music program. Nyoonza is focused on using music and songs to amplify human rights issues among the young people with focus on socio-economic empowerment, education, mental health, Sexual Reproductive Health Rights and prevention to Sexual and Gender Based Violence. Working both in and out of school, SARI empowers young people especially girls and young women to develop compelling messages through folk music and songs drawing from cultural elements and disseminated through community outreaches and digital platforms.
