My Pen My Book My Right is an initiative aimed at empowering teenage and young mothers with knowledge of their rights while empowering them with life skills to meaningfully participate in their socio-economic development. The project is addressing intersectional factors that teenage and young mothers face such as child labour, early and forced marriages, unplanned pregnancies, and dropping out of school that increase their vulnerability to poverty. SARI is implementing the project in partnership with With and For Girls/ We are Purposeful to organise girls in collectives they learn, share and form synergies for advocacy and development (2022-2023).
