Basketry for income generation

Basketry for income generation is a project working with teenage and young mothers to empower them economically.

The goal of the project is to enhance decent employment for teenage and young mothers through improved job skills and networks. Majority of them have been faced to drop out of school and have limited access to opportunities. The project therefore equips teenage and young mothers with skills in basketry and marketing for economic growth. It also enhances their capacity in group dynamics, leadership, savings mobilization, credit management, records keeping and financial management through the groups formed.
